Pickett Elementary School closes early related to heating issues, problems resolved
Press Release: Due to a loss of heat and out of an abundance of caution, Pickett Elementary School was dismissed early on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 10:15 AM.
The issue was caused by a mechanical failure within the school. The mechanical part has been repaired. At this time everything is resolved and we are planning for students to return on Monday, January 27.
