Lexington Fire Department responds to fire on Tyler Drive

On November 30th at approximately 11:20 a.m. the Lexington Fire Department (LFD) responded to a fire at 103 Tyler Drive. The home was occupied by a grandmother and four grandchildren, who all exited the home. A comprehensive search of the property confirmed that no one else was inside of the home and no injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

When firefighters arrived they found a fire in one of the bedrooms of the home, which was contained to that room and quickly extinguished.

The actions of the LFD resulted in a quick extinguishing of the fire and only minor damage to the home. The Lexington Fire Marshal’s Office is actively investigating the cause of the fire.
