Lexington man arrested for indecent liberties with a minor

In June of 2024, Deputies with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office received a report of statutory rape against a local juvenile victim. Detectives were assigned to the investigation.
The juvenile victim was seen at The Dragonfly House, where they participated in a forensic interview, where the juvenile disclosed sexual abuse.
The suspect was identified as Robert Lee Andrus, who is known to the juvenile victim.
On August 29, 2024, Andrus was arrested and charged with:
Two counts of 1st Degree Statutory Rape
Two counts of Indecent Liberties with a Child.
Robert is currently in the Davidson County Detention Center under a $275,000.00 secured bond. Andrus is scheduled to appear in Davidson County District Court on September 13, 2024.
