Lexington Police Investigate Report of Gunshot Injuries

LEXINGTON, NC – Lexington Police Officers responded to Cotton Grove Road at 2:15 pm today about a 63- year-old female with a gunshot injury. While investigating the incident, officers received a call from Lexington Memorial Hospital about a juvenile male with a gunshot wound. During the initial investigation, officers discovered both victims are related to the original call for service on Cotton Grove Road.

Injuries to the juvenile appear to be non-life-threatening. However, the female’s injuries are serious. Lexington Police Department is actively investigating this incident.
