Local man arrested on multiple charges
On Wednesday July 10th 2024, Deputies with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division arrested and charged Logan Todd Kates of Lexington with kidnapping, assault inflicting serious injury, crime of domestic violence and communicating threats.
Deputies responded to the Sheetz located at 12290 NC Hwy 150 to meet with the complainant who reported she had been physically assaulted by Logan Kates. Deputies gathered sufficient evidence to obtain felony and misdemeanor warrants for Logan Kates.
Deputies responded to his residence, where Logan Kates was subsequently arrested and served with his outstanding warrants.
Logan Kates was placed in the Davidson County Jail under a no bond domestic hold. Kates has a court date in Lexington District Court on July 30th 2024.
