Election Day is here. If you’re confused about what’s happening today, below is a breakdown:

  • Lexington’s municipal election - winners for the mayoral, city council and Lexington City Schools Board of Education seats will be final tonight. This is NOT a primary.

  • Davidson County primary election - winners of the primary will appear on the ballot in November.

  • Federal and State Legislative seats - winners of the primary will appear on the ballot in November.

*Note - all races will not appear on your ballot. Some races may not be contested. Some races may not have candidates representing your affiliated party. Some races won’t appear until November. Election Day 2022 is Tuesday, November 8.
