LPD investigates traffic accident

 Lexington Police Department responded to a traffic accident involving a  pedestrian on Tuesday, June 6. The accident occurred at the intersection of Cotton Grove Road  and Talbert Boulevard.  

The preliminary investigation revealed that Lexington driver Samantha Hoyle, age 37,  contributed to the crash involving a pedestrian. All injured parties are stable but still under  medical treatment at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. 

Hoyle has pending criminal charges, including driving while impaired, careless and reckless  driving, driving while license revoked, and a stop light violation.
