LYT bringing 'Sound of Music' to the stage

Lexington Youth Theatre (LYT) proudly presents Rodgers and Hammerstein's classical musical, The Sound of Music, this weekend at the Smith Civic Center in Uptown Lexington. Opening night is Friday, March 18, at 7 PM. Other shows are Saturday, March 19, at 7 PM and Sunday, March 20, at 2 PM. A talented cast of local youth will present this full-stage musical production which brings history to life on the stage. The show is based on the 1949 memoir of Maria von Trapp, The Trapp Family Singers. Tickets are $15 and are available at the door prior to each show or by visiting www.lexingtonyouththeatreinc.com. Reserved seating is also available for $25.
