Municipal elections filing period ends, 38 candidates file in five municipalities
Friday, at noon, marked the end of the filing period for November’s municipal elections. On Tuesday, November 7, elections will be held in Lexington, Thomasville, Wallburg, Denton, Midway and High Point (portions of the city are in Davidson County). High Point will have a primary election on Tuesday, October 10. In parentheses is how many seats are up for election.
