Name change complete for Lexington hospital

Wake Forest Baptist Health – Lexington Medical Center has a new name after the Winston-Salem-based health care system unveiled its new brand on Wednesday after merging with Atrium Health last year. The hospital will now officially be known as Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center.
In October, Atrium Health and Wake Forest Baptist Health, including Wake Forest School of Medicine, officially merged as Atrium Health.
