I enjoyed our meeting with Nucor and area community leaders today!
Since Charlotte-based Nucor announced its new micro mill location outside of Lexington, citizens have been awaiting the arrival. Construction has begun at the site along Highway 64. Over 500 temporary construction site workers will be needed, and once the mill is complete, 200 permanent employees will staff the location.
