Plan Ahead: Free advance directives workshop offered
Davidson County Senior Services, in partnership with Hospice of Davidson County, is offering residents an important opportunity to plan for their healthcare future. A free workshop will be held this Thursday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Davidson County Senior Center in Lexington, located at 555-B West Center Street Extension.
This special program is designed to help individuals complete their advance directives, including a Living Will and Health Care Power of Attorney. These legal documents are essential in making sure your healthcare preferences are honored, even in situations when you are unable to communicate them yourself.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. with an educational session led by knowledgeable team members from both Davidson County Senior Services and Hospice of Davidson County. Afterward, attendees will have the chance to receive personalized, one-on-one assistance with completing their advance directives through 12 p.m.
No registration is required to attend. Whether you're just starting to think about advance care planning or ready to finalize your documents, this event is open to all Davidson County residents.
