A quiet week here at the legislature! Let's begin getting into the hot topic's in Raleigh:
ECU Health signed a deal to join venture along with Acadia Healthcare. This was a major step for the university's name I.D. and expanding it's brand.
Senator Jarvis, along with other elected officials, have been selected to serve on a sub-committee to advance the hurricane relief efforts from previous natural disasters.
Thomas Stith, leader of the North Carolina Community College System, has resigned. The replacement has not been yet named at this given time.
Oral arguments could begin as early as December at the United States Supreme Court in regards to the North Carolina redistricting case.
Rep. Bobby Hanig is looking to join the state senate. A former county commissioner looks to assume the state representative's role.
DHHS announced the final installment of the mental health hotline, just dial 988.
Nearly 7,000 households and 374 businesses in 12 N.C. counties are set to receive high-speed internet thanks to more than $23.4 million in grants, Gov. Roy Cooper announced Monday.
A speed enforcement campaign was announced for the entire state, from July 18th - 24th.
