Power outage temporarily halts election filings
Friday’s storms led to a power outage at The Davidson County Board of Elections locations on 945 N. Main Street according to Ken Richards an election specialist with the BOE. Regular hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am- 5 pm.
Candidates interested in filing for municipal elections should call (336) 242-2190 to confirm if power has been restored.
Elections filings have not been updated as of this story deadline but will be posted on Monday according to staff.
