Press Release: Forest Gobble served additional charges while in jail

Forrest Patrick Gobble, 37 was arrested and served warrants by the Lexington Police Department on November 14th for fifteen counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. He was arrested and served at the Davidson County Jail in Lexington.

Gobble was already incarcerated and being held on a $500,000 secured bond for prior sex offense charges, including statutory rape of a child, stemming from an investigation in Lexington in June 2024. Gobble was given a $250,000 secured bond this morning, bringing his total bond currently to $750,000 secured.

Through continued investigation stemming from the June case, detectives also discovered that Gobble was also in possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) on digital devices that were seized and examined following the first arrest and investigation in June. The additional CSAM located through follow up investigations resulted in the additional charges on this date.
