The Lexington Flying Pigs are thrilled to announce the appointment of Jordan Chapman as the new General Manager for the upcoming 2024 season. Jordan brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and community spirit to her new role, making her a valuable addition to the Flying Pigs family.

The Huddle: Previous stories about Lexington Flying Pigs

Jordan's journey with the Flying Pigs began last season when she generously hosted three players from the team, extending her warm hospitality to the athletes. Her commitment to the team's success was further demonstrated as she took on the responsibility of driving the team bus to away games, ensuring the players' safe and timely arrival at their destinations.

Beyond her contributions to the Flying Pigs, Jordan plays an active role in the Davidson County community as an EC Teacher's Assistant for Davidson County Schools. Her dedication to education and her support for students exemplify her passion for making a positive impact.

In addition to her educational pursuits, Jordan serves as the Davis Townsend Booster Club president, where she leads efforts to enhance opportunities for local youth in various sports programs. Her involvement as a soccer and softball coach for Davis Townsend's booster club programs showcases her commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering a sense of camaraderie among athletes.

Jordan's advocacy for the Lexington and Davidson County community has not gone unnoticed. Her tireless efforts to uplift the community and create positive change align perfectly with the Flying Pigs' mission to be a source of pride and unity for the region.

The 2024 season marks a significant milestone for the Flying Pigs as they embark on their fifth year in the Old North State League. The team, known for its impressive roster of collegiate wood bat baseball players, continues to bring the excitement of America's pastime to fans in the Lexington area.

Home games for the Flying Pigs will be hosted at the storied Historic Holt-Moffitt Stadium, providing an iconic backdrop for baseball enthusiasts to gather and enjoy the sport they love. The action-packed season will run through the months of May, June, and July, promising thrilling moments on the field.
