Road Closures for Uptown Lexington Christmas Open House to begin at 11 am
Uptown Lexington Christmas Open House is tomorrow from 1-6 pm and the Annual Tree Lighting will begin at 6:15.
Lexington Police Department will begin putting out cones in parking spaces at 10 am and the roads will begin to close at 11 am.
The roads will close from 3rd Avenue to 3rd Street and Salisbury to State.
Christmas Open House is a tradition that began 27 years ago at the start of our Uptown Program and it is a holiday that invites families to kick off the Christmas Season. Enjoy the festive Sunday afternoon with hot chocolate and historic horse and carriage rides. Of course, Santa will be in the square. The polar express choo-choo train gives children and adults alike the opportunity to explore the historic district while listening to Christmas music. Stores are open for customers to begin their holiday shopping.
