Salvation Army is hosting annual "Stuff the Bus" campaign

LEXINGTON, NC - In partnership with FOX 8 WGHP and Thomas Built Buses, The Salvation Army of Davidson County will be collecting school supplies for local children in need on August 2. A special event will be held locally at the Walmart Supercenter to collect school supplies!  

  • When: Monday, August 2nd

  • Where: Walmart Supercenter - 160 Lowes Blvd. Lexington, NC 27292

  • Time: 7:00 am -7:00 pm

A Thomas Built Bus will be parked at the Walmart Supercenter in Lexington to collect school supply donations for local children in need. Throughout the day donations can be placed in designated bins in front of the bus. Donations will also be accepted at The Salvation Army of Davidson County office on 314 W. 9th Avenue, Lexington and at The Boys & Girls Club on 309 Etta Ln., Thomasville, NC 27360. Not able to make it out to see us, shop online at www.walmart.com/registryforgood and search for Stuff The Bus School Supply Drive or Salvation Army, Lexington.

All of the school supplies donated through the annual “Stuff the Bus” campaign will go directly to local students in need, including The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club.
