On Saturday, May 13th The National Association of Letter Carriers held their annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. The Salvation Army of Davidson County was contacted earlier that week by the Lexington Post Office and notified that the food drive collection would be designated to their food pantry this year.

For many years the Salvation Army of Davidson County has highlighted their kettle season with their mascot Sally, one of the Lexington pigs.
