Salvation Army of Davidson County to hold National Day of Prayer Gathering

The Salvation Army of Davidson County invites you to attend a community gathering for National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 4th at 12:15pm. This event will be held outside on the steps of the Davidson County Historical Museum located at 2 South Main Street, Lexington, NC.

The Salvation Army is asking the community as a whole to come and join in prayer for grace, mercy and direction for our nation, state and county. The Salvation Army will be joined by other community leaders to take part in the program. "National Day Of Prayer isn't about politics or denominations. It's about coming together as a community to pray for our leaders and for unity. There are so many major concerns and needs that joining hands and hearts is just imperative." Major Whitney Morton, Corps Officer of The Salvation Army of Davidson County.
