Salvation Army plans to ring in a new year

Davidson County, NC – As 2021 comes to an end, many families (one of the fastest growing segments of the homeless population) and neighbors in Davidson County are struggling. Some face impossible choices—like- whether to buy food or pay for utilities or even the possible eviction from their homes. Many will turn to The Salvation Army for help to meet their basic human needs such as food, shelter, utilities, and other critical essentials.

“The Salvation Army is asking local residents to help others by donating generously before year’s end. These gifts may be tax deductible and, more importantly, they will help those in need ring in the New Year as Hope Marches on at The Salvation Army,” says Major Ray Morton.
