Schools will have delayed opening on Thursday

Road conditions continue to cause issues across Davidson County. As a result, all three local school systems will have delayed openings on Thursday, January 20. Lexington City Schools and Davidson County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay. Additionally, DCS has put on the table the option to close once their operations team has a chance to assess roads in the morning. Thomasville City Schools are operating on a three hour delay.
