The culinary artist behind the menu for the Inaugural Black Butterfly event is inspired by many traditional favorite dishes. The menu is an homage to the heritage of certain foods like okra, black-eyed peas and crispy fried chicken. The Black Butterfly Network postponed From Langston to Lexington with Love Black Tie event until March 25, 2022. The event will include Lynn Marshall-Linnemeier. Her style is uniquely southern with a style of mixed media in deep and cool tones. She has been documenting the American South since 1989 and works both figuratively and abstractly.
