As part of the response to the cold snap, city crews have already completed checks on all bridges with water utilities connected to them. Additionally, fire crews are surveying vacant buildings to identify any potential leaking water lines that may have been impacted by the freezing conditions. Police officers are patrolling streets to help canvas the area.

The Thomasville Water department is receiving calls about customers without water more than likely due to the freezing temperatures that we are experiencing.
