United Way of Davidson County invests in programs that provide mentoring, tutoring, and after-school care for students in Davidson County. Programs that effectively encourage school readiness, school success and the lowering of the high school dropout rate and increasing the graduation rate.
The Davidson County Boys & Girls Club and Kidz Dreamz Klub of Lexington youth participated in the Boys & Girls Club of North and South Carolina Hoops Council tournament in Greensboro, NC this past weekend.
Through the financial support of the United Way of Davidson County, a group of kids at the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club are making a real impact on the healthcare and well-being of others in their community.
