The Thomasville Farmers Market has hired a new farmers market manager, Mary Herrington. A native of Connecticut, Herrington has over 15 years of social media marketing experience. For 13 years, she was a micro-food business entrepreneur selling her products in Charlotte-based farmers markets.
The Lexington Farmers Market will sign up new and returning vendors for the 2023 farmers market season an its annual spring organizing meeting on Monday, March 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the Davidson County Cooperative Extension Auditorium.
So the next time you shop at your neighborhood farmers market, remember: not only are you appeasing your taste buds, but you’re giving your community a little economic boost. One dollar at a time.

Businesses from across North and South Carolina will fill Thomasville’s Farmers Market and Pace Park Amphitheater on Saturday, June 18 for the second Black Business Expo. The event will include food trucks, a live DJ, a mobile arcade, kids’ activities and lots of fun for all who attend. Admission is free and open from 3 to 7 p.m.

The 2022 Davidson County Farm Tour is a community and education outreach event hosted by Davidson County Local Food Network (DCLFN). DCLFN is the county's food council which is a network composed of farmers, food producers, health advocates who work towards building an equitable and resilient food system for the health and economic welfare of the community.
The Lexington Farmers Market and the Thomasville Farmers Market will jointly launch the Davidson County Winter Farmers Market in January 2022 at Bull City Ciderworks in Lexington and expand pop-up markets throughout Davidson County year-round.
