Faith and Fellowship: The Wind of God
Wind by virtue of it’s strength, the wind is unpredictable. You cannot catch the wind, you could try to use a windmill, even with that we are not able to stop the wind from blowing.
God creates the wind, And he controls it. John 3:8
“Tell us the wind blows where it pleases, and you hear it’s sound, but you don’t know where it comes from or where it’s going. So it is with everyone born of the spirit”.
Christ connects God spirit with the wind, we as believers know that the “Wind of God” or Holy Spirit cannot be controlled.
Genesis 1:1 teaches us, In the beginning when God created the heavens and earth, the earth was formless and void and the darkness covered the face of the deep.
Can you imagine the calming spirit of the wind while the mighty hand of God was at work, creating the earth.
The wind of God is a creative power through which God brings order.
There are four winds mentioned throughout scripture, In the natural these four winds are used to refer to winds originating from the four corners of the earth, North, South, East, West.
The winds that the scriptures speaks of are spiritual agents of war, positioned in Heaven, and released by God for battle, The powerful Northern wind along with lightning that brings rain, growth, and increase the South wind brings is a warm wind, that brings peace. The Eastern wind, strong and dry this wind that scorches, devastates and separate, the wind from the West, drives the devourer and brings relief and purpose of rain, of blessings and transformation
God releases his anointing carried by the four winds of heaven to the alignment in your life to shift things in your favor.
The wind of God will move and rearrange things in the Spirit. There are many different scriptures in the Bible that teaches us about the Wind of God.
1 John 4:4, When the Holy Spirit dwells in you; you then realize that you carry the winds of Heaven, and all of it’s abilities inside of you.
The Wind of God, you can hear it, It’s invisible, you can’t see it. But you know it’s there, the wind blows where it wishes, when it will, the wind is free, the Wind of God is the main effect of the Spirit, which we can graciously say we are alive and spiritual!
The Wind of God, is blowing and because it’s blowing God gives life to whom he will. Because he is the True and Living God.
As we meditate on the word of God this week, let us remember. The Spirit blows where it will, Listen to the wind, and you can hear in a small still voice.
The Spirit of God!
May God So Richly Bless!!!
