Thomasville man arrested after fleeing Sheriff
On August 25th 2024, Detectives with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office T.R.A.C.E. Team along with Deputies from the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division attempted to stop a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle in the area Lake Road and Johnsontown Road in Thomasville for a traffic violation.
The operator of the motorcycle fled a short distance but was later captured after a foot pursuit and brief struggle with officers.
The operator of the motorcycle, Johnathen Hughes Pemberton of Thomasville was arrested and charged with:
Felony fleeing to elude
Resist delay
Obstruct a law enforcement officer
Possession of a stolen motorcycle
Driving while license revoked
Stop sign violation
Possession of about 27 and a half grams of Methamphetamine
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Possession with intent to sell and deliver Methamphetamine.
Pemberton is scheduled to appear in Lexington Court on September 25, 2024.
