United Way hosting Week of Caring

United Way hosting Week of Caring

The United Way of Davidson County is excited about sponsoring the largest community volunteer project in Davidson County – the Week of Caring!

Projects may be completed at any time during the month of September. Your involvement will make this year’s Week of Caring a huge success! The Week of Caring is an opportunity for businesses & other organizations to have their employees involved in a short-term community service project that benefits a non-profit agency in Davidson County. Not only does the Week of Caring benefit many non-profits and their clients, but you and your company benefits from the involvement, as well.  Completing a project is a great way to build teamwork, enhance your community spirit and give a sense of accomplishment to your friends and coworkers.  If you are not able to complete a project, but would like to be involved, donations and materials are always welcome.

A list of the projects is included with this email as well as a volunteer form.  To sign up for a project, simply return the attached form to me by August 21st with your top two project choices and matches will be made on a first come first serve basis, projects highlight blue have already been matched.  Detailed information about the project you have chosen will be sent directly to you after the volunteer form is returned.

We look forward to working with you on a project for the Week of Caring.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 336-249-2532.  Thank you for your support of the United Way!
