Commissioners to host 'Charters of Freedom' dedication Oct. 27th

Join the Davidson County Board of Commissioners at the Charters of Freedom dedication ceremony. Taking place at The Square in Uptown Lexington. Thursday, October 27th at 11:00am.

Foundation Forward, Inc. is an educational non-profit that installs life-size replicas of the United States’ Charters of Freedom: the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights in communities across America. Foundation Forward raises funds from the sale of engraved pavers positioned in front of the documents on the walkway. They then use that revenue to fund other Charters of Freedom displays. “This includes legacy pavers and plaques to honor loved ones, active-duty military or veterans, first responders, businesses or organizations,” Foundation Forward spokesman Mike Unruh said.
