Thanksgiving Day Early Bird 5K is back

Lexington, NC – The United Way of Davidson County and Davidson County Government are teaming up once again to host the eleventh annual Thanksgiving Day Early Bird 5K/3K on November 24th. The event will be held at the Davidson County Governmental Center, located at 913 Greensboro Street in Lexington. Proceeds from this health and wellness event will benefit the United Way.

“We are so excited that the Early Bird 5K is back this year! This event is so much fun and the community looks forward to it each year. It’s a wonderful opportunity to promote healthy lifestyles and support our community.  We are grateful for our partnership with Davidson County Government,” stated, Kristie Hege, United Way President.

The race will begin at 8:30 a.m. Take advantage of early registration to secure your race t-shirt or hoodie.  Early registration ends October 31st. General registration is open until November 23rd.
