We're going LIVE at 8pm on election night!

What happens when you get one of Davidson County’s most vocal Republicans in a room with one of Davidson County’s most vocal Democrats?

We shall see during Davidson Local’s election night coverage with commentary on November 2nd! Join us live with two well-known guests. This includes community advocate Tina Royal. Royal is a Lexington native with a wealth of knowledge as former chair of the Davidson County Democratic Party. She heads up Anything for Our Youth nonprofit and has campaigned and led several campaigns in Davidson County.

Learn more about local elections on Tuesday!

Royal will bring commentary alongside local legend, Jimmy Davis. Davis describes himself as “a hardcore” Republican. Davis, a local business person who co-leads the nonprofit Davidson County Compassion Inspiring Action, has immersed himself in local politics for several years now. The former wrestler is heavily involved in the Davidson County GOP and works on several campaigns.

Despite their differences, both heavy hitters LOVE Davidson County and have agreed to keep their political commentary lively and above the belt.

The moderator for the evening is Antionette Kerr, who is unaffiliated in terms of politics and co-founder of Davidson Local. She says the evening will be informative and fun. It is designed to engage people in the local political process. Davidson Local will share local results, preview upcoming elections and have a civil and honest discussion about the importance of local politics. YOU can also make your comments live on our feed!

Davidson Local’s LIVE is guaranteed to be anything other than boring! #dontmissabeat #hyperlocal #SawItOnTheDL
