Women In Motion grants available to Thomasville applicants

Women in Motion is thrilled to announce the opening of the 2024 grant cycle, which aims to empower organizations serving women in the greater High Point community. The grant, totaling $10,000, is dedicated to capacity-building and provides crucial operational funding to eligible organizations.

The application deadline for the 2024 grant is June 14th, 2024.

Eligible organizations must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status as defined by the Internal Revenue Service

  • Primarily serve women in the greater High Point community, including Archdale, Trinity, Thomasville, and Jamestown

  • Have been in existence for five years or less

  • Maintain an operational budget of $100,000 or less.

Additionally, applicants should align with one or more of Women in Motion’s four mission focus areas:

  • Education

  • Mentorship

  • Resources

  • Wellness.

These areas aim to enhance women’s personal, economic and professional development while also fostering leadership opportunities in our communities.

“Our goal with the 2024 grant is to uplift and support organizations dedicated to empowering women in our community,” said Pam Baldwin, Executive Director of Women in Motion. “We believe that by investing in capacity-building initiatives, we can significantly impact women's lives in the greater High Point area by supporting local organizations that serve them.”
