Faith and Fellowship: Worrying Is The Misuse Of Your Imagination
What are you worried about today? One may say worrying is a feeling that comes over us in times such as troubles, problems, and sometimes fear.
Philippians 4:6, teaches us “Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by Prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your request be made known unto God.
Worrying makes us unfruitful. Our Lord and Savior wants us to serve him with our whole heart.
Therefore if you find yourself worrying, you may not be able to commune with God, Let us therefore rebuke the adversary, Satan our enemy for tempting us to abuse our imagination.
It is almost impossible for any of us to imagine what our Heavenly Father has planned for us.
1 Corinthians 8:2, if anyone imagines that he knows something, he does not yet know what he ought to know. The word of God makes it clear, that fear is not from God.
Let us always use our imagination to think about what so ever is true and pure. Jesus said “ Who of you can add a single hour to his life?”
Worrying is totally meaningless and worthless.
When you are a child of God, you have been redeemed through Jesus Christ.
So therefore we find that worrying is a misuse of your imagination. We should know that God Loves us very much and he deeply cares for us.
Our imaginations are wonderful and powerful forces in our lives.
We can use our imagination for great things, but with the misuse of our imagination it can allow unnecessary stress into our lives.
It is very important that we use our imagination in a positive way. That our Father in Heaven May be Glorified.
We should not spend time worrying about tomorrow. Someone once said,” Worrying doesn’t empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength”.
Let us remember worrying is the misuse of your imagination, God has given us an imagination as a gift. When we follow the spirit of God, our imaginations can bring about powerful outcomes.
As we meditate on the word of God this week, let us remember worrying is a misuse of your imagination.
Always invite the Holy Spirit to speak with you, instead of allowing our minds to wander into sinful areas, let us allow the Holy Spirit to renew our spiritual imaginations.
Dear Lord, Please help us to contain our imaginations.
May God So Richly Bless!
