We are celebrating Women's History Month
It’s Women’s History Month!
In true Davidson Local style, we will honor the month with stories that not only weave information into the telling but engage emotions and energy. Groups of women will be featured this month to represent action, transition, leadership and compassion in our local community. Stories will include local perspectives from an array of collaborators.
We (along with our weekly sponsors) invite you to celebrate a month filled with tales about the groups who have helped establish businesses, ministries, parks, childcare facilities, hospitals, nonprofits and advanced political movements. We will also honor women who push against boundaries, have broken barriers and venture into those places they are told they cannot go.
We are here because of the exceptional women we call family, friends, colleagues and neighbors. We write about women often and there acknowledge that there are many meaningful stories to share. This month isn’t the only time we will say, “Thank You!”
