Davidson County Sheriff’s Office participate in state Tree of Life Vigil

On Dec 1, 2023, Detectives with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office Traffic & Criminal Enforcement Unit attended the 26th Annual Tree of Life Candlelight Vigil. The Vigil took place on the grounds of the State Capitol Building in Raleigh to honor those killed in traffic crashes on North Carolina roads.

In 2022. 1,798 people lost their lives as a result of vehicle crashes on N.C. Roads. The Tree of Life honors those victims and serves as a reminder to travel safely, not only this holiday season but each and every day.
