Updates: January 22nd School Closings

The following updates have been announced prior to the press deadline.

Davidson County Schools

Due to tonight’s inclement weather, Davidson County Schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 22 for students and staff. All extracurricular activities are cancelled.

Lexington City Schools

Due to inclement weather, all schools will be closed for students tomorrow, Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Out of an abundance of caution Staff will have a remote workday as we prioritize safety of our students and staff. 

We appreciate your understanding and ask that you stay safe. Please check district communication channels for any further updates.

Thomasville City Schools

Thomasville City Schools will be closed for students and staff on Monday, January 20 for the MLK Holiday and closed for students on January 21-22 for end of the semester teacher workdays
