Come inside to the Lexington Farmers Market at the Depot this Saturday
It may be dreary outside, but Saturday will be much better and something to look forward to at the Lexington Farmers Market as we all brave the rain and storms.
If you have been following the Lexington Farmers Market on Facebook or Instagram, you have seen that it's National Farmers Market Week, and we've been celebrating with features on our market members. Farmers markets make such an important difference in our community and food system, and the more you support Farmers markets, the more they can give back. Stop by and show your support for our amazing vendors this weekend. Also, remember to take pictures of what you buy at the farmers market and how you use it and tag us, including the hashtag #LoveMyMarket!.We want to see your favorite purchases and yummy recipes.
From produce, baked goods, eggs, dairy, honey, and meats (including delicious local wagyu beef), to wine, mead, flowers, and much more. The Lexington Farmers Market has just about anything your heart could desire at this weekend's market.
Check out the vendor list below and stay tuned for Samantha's Friday Update on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok for extra details. Keep in mind that the storms from Tropical Storm Debby could impact some of our vendors this week, especially produce harvest, so as always, so the list is subject to change.
Do you have SUN Bucks benefits this summer? (SUN Bucks is a new grocery benefit that offers families $120 per eligible school-aged child for groceries during the summer. Find out more about SUN Bucks here.)
We accept these benefits at the market - the process is the same as our regular SNAP program! See the graphic below the vendor list for more info.
