Another crash on Friendship-Ledford Road claims life
The N.C. State Highway Patrol reports a fatal crash involving two vehicles that occurred on the evening of Sunday, March 17, 2024 at the intersection of Friendship-Ledford Road and Motsinger Road in Davidson County.
Alex Snowberger, of Greensboro was charged with failure to yield after the Hyundai SUV that he was driving crashed into the Kia SUV being driven by Carolyn Bennet.
Bennet was traveling north on Friendship-Ledford Road when the vehicle that she was driving was struck by Snowberger’s vehicle. Both vehicles veered off the road and overturned.
Bennet died as a result of the crash and Snowberger received an additional charge, misdemeanor death by motor vehicle. Bennet was reported not to have been wearing a seatbelt.
Friendship-Ledford Road has been the scene of several fatal crashes in the past years.
The N.C. Highway Patrol is still investigating this crash.
