Dealing with winter weather

While the Piedmont area has been fortunate this far into our winter season, tonight’s temperatures are expected to dip to their coldest yet, and depending on any possible precipitation, residents may have to deal with clearing away some ice on windshields or sidewalks.

Even if it does not come now, the prediction for a winter of rain certainly means there is a chance for ice before spring comes.

Dealing with ice, and snow, removal calls for some basic preparations, and it is always a good idea to make sure those actions won’t impact the storm drains or water supply.
