Faith and Fellowship: A Journey with Jesus (Part 1)

Faith and Fellowship: A Journey with Jesus (Part 1)

As we embark upon the Christmas season, let us begin our journey with Jesus. Sometimes being prepared for your calling may not be easy but Faith makes it possible.

Luke 1:26-38 teaches us how the journey begins: an angel announces the coming birth of Jesus. And the angel said unto her, fear not Mary: for thou has found favor with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son and shalt call his name Jesus.

There are times on our lives when our plans are not God’s plans. Sometimes our preparations may not come the way we would like for them to come. There are times, in the lives of believers, we may be tossed around we may even receive some bumps and bruises, But just like Mary, God will always prepare us for our perfect destiny.

Isaiah 40:29 tells us, He gives strength to the weary and increases power of the weak.

Mary was obedient to her call. She was a willing servant. Mary’s trustworthiness to God should encourage us to continue in our faith and have courage as we continue our journey with Jesus.

May God so Richly Bless!
