Final Lexington Farmers Market of the season being held Saturday

On Saturday, December 4, 9am-2pm the Lexington Farmers Market at the Depot will present it’s special “Holiday Market”.  Local farmers will have produce, plants, eggs, and locally raised beef, pork, lamb, and chicken.  Homemade jams, bread, and other baked goods will also be available for you to share at upcoming Christmas parties or to add to your own menu. 

You’ll also be able to do buy beautiful and unique Christmas gifts from local craftsmen and artisans.  Some of the possible purchases include-quilts, crocheted items of all kinds, aprons, pottery, leather belts and purses, jewelry, soaps and skin conditioners, air and linen sprays, charcuterie and cutting boards, wooden spoons, room décor, and much, much more.

Santa Claus will be dropping in from 10:30am to 12:30pm to sit in his rocker by the Christmas tree and will be available for lap-sitting, photos, and Christmas wishes. Santa will be happy to mask up for anyone requesting it.

Come enjoy the market at the renovated train depot in Lexington, 129 S Railroad Street, close to Southern Lunch Restaurant.
