Faith and Fellowship: Wait on the Lord

Sometimes being a believer and learning to wait on God can at times feel uncomfortable. There are times while we are waiting on God it may not be easy for us.

I want to encourage the children of God, to continue to wait on God and continue to keep trusting in God. Our God is always on time with his delivery to us, Psalms 27:14. teaches us “Wait on the Lord ; Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart; wait I say on the Lord.”

Let us as believers be optimistic with a great attitude while in the process of waiting on God. There may be times when God doesn’t answer us as quickly as we may want him to. We should always remember God’s timing is not like our timing. God is so Awesome when answering our prayers. He will always give us answers. While in the process of waiting his answer may be yes, no or wait!!!

It takes tremendous faith and strength tp endure the waiting process. Thanks be to God, the Holy Spirit will strengthen you daily while you are waiting. Lamentations 3:25 says “The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the souls who seeks him”.

We must trust God with our petitions that we send up to him. We must trust that God is working behind the scenes on our behalf. Waiting on the Lord is a form of obedience. There may be times when we can’t understand why the wait is taking so long .God will give us patience and God will make the waiting process more bearable.

Trust God; spend time with God. Read the word of God. Do these things while waiting on God and watch how God will change things. Incline your ear to God and he will listen.

As we meditate on The word of God this week, we pray God will teach us that waiting on you him is not that bad. God we will trust you in our waiting. For we know that you have never failed us.

Teach us dear Lord to shift our focus to praising and worshipping you while we are waiting on you. To God Be The Glory!
