Now More Than Ever: Take a bag lunch Giving Tuesday and support United Way

The pandemic has had lasting effects on many in our community and especially the organizations that serve to take care of our neighbors. It has certainly been interesting times and the needs are even greater for those from children to the elderly that depend on the services provided by our 25 Partner Agencies.

When big companies left Davidson County the residual effects have been felt for years. We lost over half of our funding that we had come to depend on. We have a saying here at the office that if you turn off the news and follow us around for a day you would see all of the GOODNESS in our community! The sense of GIVING has been overwhelming this year. Our Corporate Partners have DUG DEEP and added so much energy around their campaigns. Our Benefactors who give at humbling levels have given MORE. We have even seen those that have little pull out their wallets at campaign meetings and hand us more money. To say this has been heartwarming would be an understatement.

We are forecasting that we will land at about 75% of our $1,500,000 Goal. This is TOO CLOSE to stop! We have a stretch goal of $400,000 set to ensure that we make it. MANY BUSINESSES have been BLESSED in these times. Over the next 2 months, we will be reaching out across the community to talk to these businesses about End of Year Charitable Donations as a Tax Write-off. If you are interested in an end of year gift or have a referral please reach out. Now More Than Ever our Community and these organizations need us!!
