Investigation leads to recovery of approximately Ten Thousand Dollars worth tools
On Wednesday, December 27th 2023, Patrol Deputies with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office responded to 5242 Denton Rd in Thomasville in reference to a Breaking and Entering to multiple outbuildings and Larceny after breaking and entering.
The victim stated that the suspects entered two enclosed outbuildings on the property and stole approximately $10,000.00 worth of power and hand tools. After investigating the incident, on 12/28/2023 Detectives and Patrol Deputies with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at 1312 Lacey Hepler Rd in Thomasville.
During the search warrant, the stolen property that belonged to the victim was located on the property and returned to the victim. Subsequent to the on-scene investigation, Angie Gibbs and Derrick Garner were arrested and charged with Felony Breaking and Entering and Felony Larceny after breaking and Entering. Angie and Derrick were placed into the Davidson County Jail under no bond awaiting first appearance.
