Let there be peace on earth
Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me., let there be peace on earth and let it begin with WE.
When we as believers show love one to another we can also spread peace in the world. Today, peace comes from within from simple things that may affect our spirit, our soul.
Peace comes with laughter from a family member, friends, colleagues and loved ones. Peace is a calm in the middle of the storm.
The source of peace is God himself. He is the God of peace and Jesus is the Prince of Peace.
We find peace through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.
We often spend time and energy seeking peace through things of the world, only to realize later in our lives that pure peace is found in God.
Let there be peace on earth as we petition God.
Matthew 5:9 tells us “Blessed are the peacemakers for they should be called the children of God.”
We should always inspire to spread peace on earth. Heaven is truly God’s throne and earth is God’s footstool.
If we as believers should govern ourselves like Isaiah 26:3, “Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusted in thee.”
Then we can say with a surety and with peace like a river attendeth my way when sorrows like sea billows roll whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say, It is well, It is well with my soul. Some would even say that is sweet peace.
As we spend time with the Savior this week let us remember what Jesus tells us through his word in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you.My Peace I give you; give I unto you. Not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” 2 Thessalonians 3:16 states, “ Now. may the Lord of Peace himself give you peace at all times in every way.”
May the Lord be with you all.
Let there be peace on Earth.
May you be richly blessed!
