As we meditate on the word of God this week let us further understand the message by quoting the popular New Year’s song Auld Lang Syne. “Should old acquaintance be forgot and never brought to mind? Should old acquaintance be forgot in the days of auld lang syne?”
As we meditate on the word of God this week, let us remember our King is the source of all happiness and that we would rather have the treasure of Jesus than the riches of the world.
Keep your eyes on the clouds and look to God for guidance. The word of God tells us that the Holy Spirit will teach and guide us. As we reflect on the Israelites, remembering that they were to follow the clouds, trusting God for continued protection and guidance.
As we meditate on the word of God this week, let us remember to thank God for being our shelter in the midst of the storm. Let us thank God for always making a way for us. Let us continuously thank God because the storm is passing over.
As we meditate on the world of God this week let us walk in the light, the beautiful light, knowing that our light cannot be dimmed by the darkness. Let us shine our lights like diamonds that always make the world shine brighter because we all the world.
It is with anticipation and hope for how God will lead us through the new season as we say goodbye to summer. Let us remember, “‘Tis grace that brought us safe thus far and grace will lead us home.”
Waiting periods are normally used to show us how faithful God is, when God causes us to wait he gives us space to hear his voice. If you ever find yourself in a waiting period, I pray that you are encouraged.
Not only does God hold the entire world in His hands, but he is completely sovereign over it. We should be honored to serve such a great and powerful God.
We often spend time and energy seeking peace through things of the world, only to realize later in our lives that pure peace is found in God.
Someone once asked me the question what’s going on in our world today. I smiled and stated What the world needs now is love, sweet love.
As believers we have been called for a purpose. God has claimed us as his children. We will not fear we will take on the spirit of a lion king.
As we meditate on the word of God this week, let us remember. May we experience the joy of our salvation each and every day, may we always carry the summertime freedom in our hearts and may we always enjoy summertime and living easy, may you be blessed with endless summertime.
Because of the grace of God, we can look in the mirror and smile, we can smile with the exceeding joy that we are God’s creation.
