Lexington man charged with taking indecent liberties with a child

Detectives with Davidson County Sheriff’s Office charged and arrested Bret Ryan Milam, of Old Hwy 64 Lexington, NC with one count of Felony Indecent liberties with a child.

Detectives received a report in June 2024 about possible indecent liberties. An investigation began and resulted in a juvenile victim disclosing actions of an indecent nature to a forensic interviewer at the Dragonfly House in Mocksville, North Carolina.

Detectives interviewed Bret Ryan Milam, who was identified as a suspect, and as a result, Milam was formally charged with the above-listed offense.

Milam appeared before Davidson County Magistrate where he received a secured bond and was placed in Davidson County Jail.

Milam is scheduled to appear in Lexington District Court on 08/13/2024.
