Lexington man receives multiple charges including Fentanyl and Methamphetamine possession

The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office T.R.A.C.E. Team, assigned to the Special Investigations Division stopped a 2011 KIA Optima on Old Mountain Road near Hwy 47, Lexington for a traffic violation.

During the course of the stop, Detectives seized 27 grams of Methamphetamine/Fentanyl combination.

The driver, Matthew Paul Lucash of Lexington was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine

  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

  • Maintaining a vehicle to store a controlled substance

  • Trafficking opium/heroin by transportation

  • Trafficking opium/heroin by possession

  • Driving while license revoked and

  • Registration violation.

He is schedule to appear in Lexington Court on August 14, 2024.
