Royal awarded for excellence at State Grand Assembly

Lexington’s local JNO G. Lewis Assembly #326 Loyal Ladies recently attended the Annie P. Rogers State Grand Assembly at Embassy Suites in Cary, NC. The JNO G. Lewis Assembly, order of the golden circle is an auxiliary of the United Supreme Council of the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry Prince Hall Affiliation, Southern Jurisdiction, USA. The assembly in Cary, NC was their first since 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

During the assembly Loyal Lady Vivian Royal was given the deputy of excellence award, which is the highest honor given to members of the assembly. The local assembly volunteers in our community with hosting food drives, assisting with youth projects, and helping local veterans. They also participate in state projects such as donations and sending relief for storms that hit our state. The assembly also sponsors annual scholarship to high school students in their service area.
